Clinical Laboratory

The Clinical Laboratory is the largest unit of the Medical Technology Department. The main work of the laboratory is clinic sample examination, but also share the responsibility of research and teaching work of the entire hospital. The Laboratory also annexes the functions of the Reproductive Medical Center, Newborn Screening Center and Prenatal Diagnostic Center Laboratory of Zhejiang Province, and is also known as the Clinical Laboratory Diagnostic Center. The Clinical Laboratory the 40 employees including 15 persons with middle class specialist titles, and 1 Doctor's Degree and 1 Master's Degree. The Laboratory can be divided into 8 subunits which are: Microbiology, Cytogenetic, Clinical Biochemistry, Male Sterile Diagnostic, Molecular Biology, Infectious Diseases Diagnostic and Normal Clinic Examination Laboratories. The specialty of the Laboratory is the female hormone detection, prenatal cytogenetic diagnosis, female genital and fetal malformation pathogenic microorganism determination. Director of Dept.
