1989年浙江大学医学院医学系(原浙江医科大学临床医学系),毕业留校分配在浙江大学医学院附属妇产科医院,一直从事妇产科临床、教学及科研工作,积累了丰富的临床经验。1994年获妇产科学临床妇科子宫内膜异位症专业硕士学位。在国内首先关注子宫内膜异位症伴有高泌乳素血症现象,并作为临床子宫内膜异位症诊断的参考指标。2011年获得博士学位。1998年4月至1999年7月作为访问学者相继在美国West Virginia University分子病理实验室和M.D.Anderson Cancer Center分子流行病实验室从事分子生物学、分子流行病学及实验临床转化研究工作。回国后专项从事子宫内膜异位症的基础和临床研究工作。2003年作为访问学者在澳大利亚Quensland University Adult Hospital专项从事妇科内窥镜的临床工作。了解国内外子宫内膜异位症和妇科内窥镜的前沿研究发展动态,对子宫内膜异位症的诊断和治疗已经形成一个系统的诊疗流程。参与全国子宫内膜异位症诊治规范的制订。较早开展主要引起患者临床疼痛症状的深部浸润型子宫内膜异位症的腹腔镜手术,取得较高的疗效。已熟练掌握妇科内镜各种手术技术包括腹腔镜下子宫广泛性子宫全切术加盆腔淋巴结切除术。近年来作为主要参与者获得浙江省科技进步奖二等奖和国家教育部科技进步奖二等奖各1项,首创子宫腺肌病双瓣法保守性手术治疗子宫腺肌症,获得满意的疗效,并获得浙江省医药卫生科技奖一等奖1项。2020年获浙江省科学技术自然奖二等奖。2011年起负责浙江省重点医学(创新)微创妇科学,主持国家自然基金7项和科技部重大专项课题2项,目前在研课题2项。共发表论文超过140篇,其中SCI源期刊发表超过80篇。主编由人民卫生出版社的《子宫腺肌症》(2018,58万字),主译由中国科学技术出版社的(《Endometriosis: Current topics in Diagnosis and Management》原著Nazar N. Amso and Banerjee)(2024.7; 36.6万字)。参与《子宫内膜异位症》、《宫颈疾病学》、《外阴阴道疾病》和《异位妊娠》等参考书的编写。
